please understand, I love him, I've never related more to any vampire out there. Sinclair and his family are icons

I will return to bluesky life(?) once I'm free from self-imposed deadline purgatory but I'm almost there!! Please take this picture of Logan

Logan, a black cat, laying on a mint blanket, though it doesn't look mint in the lighting. His two front legs (or arms) are spread out while he is staring directly at the camera.

🚨New book alert🚨 🥀The Beckoned and the Bound by the always amazing Nicole Evans (@thoughtsstained.bsky.social) 🥀 Beautiful cover art by Žana Arnautović (@sylleth.bsky.social) and fantastic typography by Goldfinch Book Services (@goldfinchbkservice.bsky.social) 🥀Coming to your shelves this Fall!!!

A black curtain is parted in the middle, revealing just a slice of artwork of two people, with the words, "Your next favorite slow burn is coming..." written in white text at the top.

An image of red roses and green foliage creates a backdrop behind a 3D mock-up of the cover for The Beckoned and the Bound, the first book in a new epic fantasy romance series by author Nicole Evans. The cover features red roses bordered the title in white font at the bottom, with rose petals swirling around the couple centered. On the right is a man with sun-tanned white skin and black-and-white curly hair wearing a white shirt. His left hand reaches up and touches the chin of the woman on the right. She has flowing red and black wavy hair, light gray skin and is wearing a fantasy-styled travelers garb of white, red and brown, looking at at the man with coy affection. The words "Cover Reveal" are at the top above the book, written in white all caps text.

Week 7, necks I have one more of these to go and respectfully, afterwards, I never want to look at a picture of Emmy Rossum again

A digital portrait sketch of Emmy Rossum. She's looking three quarters to the left, and has loose messy hair. I have improved but at this point I cannot tell if it looks like her in the slightest. This portrait, both my drawing and the original reference, has reached a point similar to phenomenon where if you say a word enough times it ceases to sound like a word.

This thread makes me feel really good because my one and only pilot I have on the site is a 7, and if the scale is that strict, and I got a 7 first* try, then I must have something worth working on and bettering I am this meme

A four panel comic

Panel 1: a blonde woman puts a metal on a man in a light blue tracksuit
Panel 2: the man bites the metal
Panel 3: the man pops a champagne bottle
Panel 4: It is revealed that the man is standing on the third place section of a podium. Second place (a man in a yellow tracksuit) and first place (a man in a red tracksuit) are looking on as blue tracksuit guy chugs the exploding champagne guy

I got the go-ahead 😅 I'm pretty sure my cow piece is one of my mom's favorite drawings I've ever done, and while she's supportive of my hair-brained schemes, this might be a selfish enabling

Me: There are 1025 pokemon now and I have 758 followers on BlueSky. What if I draw every pokemon when I hit 1025 followers, just like the cows

My mom: Ooo that would be cool

I don't know why Scrivener opened to this scene, but this did give me a good chuckle

"No! No! I'm sorry sir!" The host bowed low. "What I meant to say is that the elves that came around here... one of them spoke like you!"

"Congratulations, I believe you've just discovered accents." He walked away, further into the restaurant.
