Not just you. Jays, Mariners, Yankees. It's like the 2025 ALDS was a cursed monkey paw.

Last year's series was exhausting for sure. And losing Bichette meant a lot more to the team than management realized.

I too wish him a speedy recovery. Also, as a Dodgers fan, my team has currently got a huge hairball going on.

Nah, this one is on the White Sox. They choked so hard they messed up other people's lungs.

Oranguplatypus is OK, but the Penguinoceros has shaken my belief in so many things I took for granted.

More should follow Vladdy's example and make public service announcements encouraging people to know when to stop.

He did get Yankees/Bosox right so, maybe, 93% wrong? 1/15th correct?

With respect, weren't the algorithms tweaked because politicians exorciated the companies for not doing enough about what was being said on the sites?

Some might disagree, but then you can accuse them of Gauslighting, so there's that.

Dieter is on fire this week. Off to see the Wizard was peak but probably only noticed by those of us watching on TV.

Oddly, half the people wearing LA or NY caps think they are propping a city, not a team.

He's the heart of the team, at least on if the ventricles. They should do for him what the Dodgers do with Rojas: everyday presence in the dugout coming in to pinch hit or field if and as required.

Freeman 0 for 4 coming up top 9th in Atlanta down a run. Who wrote this script?

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Way this games going they should walk Feduccia to get to Ohtani

100

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Now 12 of 14 retired. I could do this all night but let's get the guy some more run support.

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Now 9 of 10 retired with 7 strikeouts. He has definitely parked the car and made his way up the front steps.

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Also, Feduccia, the catcher, is 2 for 2 supporting his starting pitcher and little things like that mean a lot for team confidence

010

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

And now 6 retired in a row, 4 SO in a row. Want to see the next inning to see if he truly had found it.

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Now THAT'S the Tyler Glasgow I remember. Strikes out the side to bounce back from a 3 run 1st inning. Shades of Skubals last start. Hope that keeps up

400

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Maybe they can pull a Pittsburgh Penguins and pay Shohei with ownership

010

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

OK, but I move for a Miguel Rojas exception because he's so polite when he has to cut out to make a play.

100

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

With 2 RBI and a run in the 4th off of Thomas' single, he matched the entire Pirates production. Maybe this cheering him on thing has something to it?

010

That was unnecessarily close. But I'll take it

010

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

I, too, am hoping for a Tucker bounceback. Guys taking it really hard. But I see a resemblance to the Tanner Scott experience and think Kyle will revert to his norm in 27.

010

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Talk about putting the buns in bunt

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Just going to point out that Cubs fans are a lot happier with Conforto than we ever were. Tucker hitting big bombs with Philly or Atlanta or Diamondbacks would have us all wondering right now.

010

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

OK, that take I can see. Not sure I fully agree but maybe he should have had a return plan that started in the middle innings, find the location, move up the leverage tree.

000

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I wasn't clear enough. Díaz needs to improve. Obvious. But the fanbase turns on Roberts and the organization so quickly despite a record Marlins fans would give a gonad for. That's my point. We are spoiled.

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Dude, LA has been to the WS five times in the last decade and won 3 of them, and you're angry at them because the closer saved the game in a way not up to your standards. Talk about perfection being the enemy of good enough.

310

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Don't kid yourself, CBC couldn't even be bothered to bid for the rights to the song. And despite billions in government funding couldn't get a deal with the NHL and won't even be showing games anymore. They stopped caring about sports a long time ago.

200

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

As another Dodgers fan put it, signing Díaz and Tucker means someone else doesn't have them. Can't pull a Freeman every season.

110

timwalshaw.bsky.social @timwalshaw.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

It's almost like our big signings need a year to settle in. I'm wondering if there's a big 2027 for Tucker, for example. Skubal, like Flaherty, is a win-now transaction. Diaz is a multi year investment. Also, the post rehab sample size is smaller than Sheehan starts.
