After hearing that Stepney will be in Railway Stories, I thought it would be cool to do edits of how I imagined his side tanks would look since I heard the characters' nameplates were removed due to globalization. 🚂💛🌺 #timsart #thomasthetankegnine #ttte #edit

A side view edit of Stepeny with his decals reads "Southern 655". This edit was inspired by the LB&SCR A1 class loco, W8 Freshwater.

A side-view edit of Stepney with his decals reads "Brighton Works". The LB&SCR A1 class loco, "Stroudley", inspired this edit, and the number B655 was a reference to Stepney's Southern Railway number.

A side-view edit of Stepney with the "LBSC" initials on his side tanks.

I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but this post reminds me of how Classic Sonic has brown eyes.

For my taste and I'm still not a fan of musical numbers. Also, despite that I haven't watch All Engines Go in 2 or 3 years, Bruno looks great in 3D.

Alright, so now that the trailer of the upcoming Thomas 2026 series is finally out, I honestly think it doesn't look bad as I expected. #thomasthetankengine #ttte #thomasandfriends

The reason why I feel this is because judging by how Oliver's Hornby model was used as a inspiration, it's most likely that the production team at Arc (or should I say Jam Filled?) don't have reference pictures of the original models until when they were leaked in 2019 or 2021. (2/3)

Tim W. Thomas (Commissions Open!!) @timtom01.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Recently, I noticed that Oliver's concept art from the CGI era was leaked, and if you ask me how I feel about it, I highly doubt that it's from the upcoming 2026 series. (1/3) #thomasthetankengine #ttte #thomasandfriends

I swear man, this is getting crazier and crazier every time we see leaks of the returning characters from the Model Era. Heck, now that I think about it, it'll be awesome to see the dynamic with these two goats.

Here's my attempt of editting of the faces from the upcoming Thomas 2026 series, starting with Emily. Personally, I don't really like how some of the female characters have Asian-like eyes, so I tried to model Emily's face after her CGI and-- (1/2) #timsart #ttte #thomasthetankengine

I see. Now that you mentioned that, I would say the prime example of how Richard made coloring errors on the smokebox saddle is James. From the way I see it, the Thomas merch from the 2000s era, like the Bachmann Thomas range, are modeled after the official 2D artworks.
