Yes I've given up on books I really wanted to read because of it. Wrong accent, wrong gender. Wrong tone. I think when we read print we voice it in our heads and a narrator has to fit in that space. Much like cast and setting in a movie.

I listen to audio books all the time. It's how I read yours. It's the only way I consume books. A bad narrator can put me off in moments. The narrator adds character and personality. They are so important.

So much to unpack. Apart from the fact she's not a medical Dr, Cancer is generally staged 1 - 4. And.... how do we know he didn't know he had prostate cancer which has recently become stage 4. Men often die with Prostate cancer not because of it. These people are ignorant and despicable humans.

This. A bad storm knocked over towers that distributed the power. These things are held on the ground by very small concrete pads on their feet. The power was generated, it just couldn't get anywhere. Also this was not a high solar generating day.
