I welcome the Government's announcement that Macclesfield Town Centre will benefit from the Safer Streets Summer Crackdown. The town will see increased police patrols and local action to tackle ASB. Working with the Council and other agencies, more prevention and enforcement action will be taken.

I am determined to see potholes filled, not pointed at. The government is investing £1.6bn to fix our broken roads, and asking councils to prove they are using is effectively. I am pleased Cheshire East Council will receive an additional £5.5m for pothole repairs and look forward to improvements.
