Everybody sees it, like clockwork all the billionaires have decided the problem isn't them. It's not their tax dodging, their profiteering, their destruction of every Public Service for profit. No it's the Triple Pension Lock. That is the scam of the week.

The Times corrects its splash story headlined "Migrant care workers bring dozens of family members." The Times got this totally wrong. It then used its own error as the basis for an editorial calling explicitly for forced expulsions of people living here legally. www.thetimes.com/comment/regi...
In a headline and a leading article we said migrant care workers were each bringing up to 15 family members with them (News, Comment, Jul 6). This was incorrect. The ratio of 15 to 1 was that of new visa approvals for Cameroonian care workers to visa approvals for family members of all Cameroonian care workers already in the UK in 2025-26. The same applies to arrivals from Ghana, Bangladesh and India. There is no connection between new visa approvals for care workers, who are not allowed to bring any dependants at all, and visas issued to the family members of care workers who were here already.

In Rocks and Houses, Ogunquit (1914), Hopper pits the sharp angles and textures of wooden architecture against timeless, unyielding granite. The contrast creates a visual dialogue between the transience of human effort and the vastness of geological time.

The majority of people in this country do not want us to be involved in this war. Keir Starmer of a few years ago wouldn't have supported this war. The only reason he does now is he will do anything Donald Trump wants - and it makes us all less safe.
No more illegal wars. Introduce a prevention of military intervention act and put human rights at the heart of foreign policy. Review all UK arms sales and make us a force for international peace and justice.

A classroom scene with a teacher standing at the front of the room and pupils seated at desks in the foreground. Overlaid text reads: “REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.” and “WHY ARE EXPERIENCED TEACHERS LEAVING?” Beneath this is a quote asking what assessment the Government has made of the comparative loss of experienced upper pay range teachers in academy and local authority-controlled schools, and what assessment has been made of the extent and impact of settlement agreements and confidentiality clauses when such teachers leave employment. A small circular image of Natalie Bennett appears with the label “Natalie Bennett, Green Party Peer,” and the Green Party logo is displayed at the bottom.
