Still rushing to finish this, I'm pushing myself on every shot so it took the whole month instead of the "few days" that was promised. I'm hoping to get it out before the month ends. Here are some (spoilery) shots. #renpy #b3d #nsfw #gay

This is how (most) of them will look within Renpy. I compressed 4 shots into 1 GIF, so it's grainy here but shouldn't be in the VN. Rendering them in pieces is lighter on my GPU, and in some cases, the only way they will render at all. Parallax can be set to mouse/auto/off. #Renpy #b3d #noAI

These examples are contrived and extreme. You (usually) render something close to what your final look is, but I wanted to hint at the extent of what's possible, stuff you can do to avoid having to re-rendering entire animations, and what cannot be magically fixed with compositing.

There is so much AI propaganda now from AI is harmless, ethical AI, to AI is valid for prototyping and research. When that bubble blows it will ruin many more people's lives with it and people perpetrating that nonsense should shoulder that blame.

♥️Thanks. Really enjoyed making it. I needed to have a complete animation so I could work out how every moving part in it is handled within the turn-based combat from spawning the effects, adding the animation, to cleaning up afterwards. You do everything yourself in Godot but you learn so much.

😉It is. But I've realized it's healthier not to dwell. Subreddits are owned by the people who moderate them. It's frustrating when they lament about censorship, and lack of gaymes, though. As if an AAA company will risk losing the bigot pie for the gay one when gays promote them for free regardless.

"This straight AAA game for straight audiences that we keep promoting to the front page of our gay sub for free for several days now is heteronormativity being forced on us gays. Why can't they cater to us?" (From a sub with unlimited excuses for deleting gay indie game promos on their subreddit.)

Timoteo 🔞 @timoteoxo.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

It's using gay pride to make a shitty stance, in this case AI, marketable or palatable especially to other gays who don't have any principled stance on anything. How much pride does one really have if they're not moved enough to create something for it, or worse, using gayness to justify AI slop.
