Can't drag/drop files into Device Hub like you could in the Simulator? Of course.

I used to think it was ridiculous how Samsung phones had the hardware button on the right. Now we get it in software!

This was my first day working on iPhone Duo support for Retro and I'm having thoughts...

If you give a developer a foldable phone pretty soon they'll want to make an iPad app. Once they have an iPad app, they'll probably make it work on Mac Catalyst...

Is screen recording or screen shotting supposed to work in Device Hub? Sure did in the Simulator.

Of course they changed how you simulate multi touch in Device Hub, because the old way we've had for 20 years wasn't good enough. Of course.

The screens keep getting bigger and the dialogs keep getting teenier. On the Duo I expect the word “Accessory” to be broken across three separate lines.

I’ve been experimenting with porting one of my side projects from Foursquare’s location DB to MapKit’s, now I’m thinking somebody should just re-implement Swarm on top of MapKit’s data

My son and I have read this book at his school a few times recently. It's about a magic crayon that does all the main character's work for him and gets him straight A's. He ends up rejecting it because the credit all feels unearned and he hasn't grown at all. Gives me lots of AI feels! […]

Open Source hot take: A software project is allowed to be *done*. Not everything needs to add features or rewrite things. You can just be happy with functionality and focus on just maintainance. "Maintenance mode" is not always bad but can just show a mature product.

Haven’t looked yet, has anybody figured out what UIScreen.main does on the duo? Does it remain one screen and change dimensions, does it switch to a different instance, or does it just lie and remain the size of a single screen no matter what.
