Oh yeah totally! I think unlived lives are such a huge thing that never gets talked about. Like imaginary numbers in mandelbrot equations - once you realise they're there, so much can be explained. I have many unlived lives although I'm fortunate they're mostly terminated rather than never started.

Yeah it's weird how invisible DS are these days. Still have 23m listeners on spotify but I never hear them talked about or referenced in any canon. Knopfler is such a standout talent. I also have a weird relationship with DS as they were the last thing I was into before I found 'cool' music.

Also, working on Finalist 2 while I do this so very tuned into tonal and dynamic balance and timbre. One thing that HAS changed is back then we were avoiding harmonic distortion like the plague. Now we're chasing it like a hot date.
