And thanks for the conversation. I hope when it comes out it’s a fantastic movie because X Fans have waited a long time for truly good X-Men films.

100

That’s why I decided to have a conversation with you because your reasons why were more interesting to me than trying to attack. The internet sucks. We all need to be nice to each other. I know it won’t ever completely happen but if even one person sees this and does that then maybe it will spread.

120

I don’t hear racist or sexist comments from you. I hear a person that is passionate about these characters and is worried that it won’t be good. All I would say is 1. We should all treat each other with more respect and talk. 2. We should all be more patient with the process. That’s my thoughts.

220

I hear your thoughts and I just want to say that I think your initial reaction was a bit harsh and the people who responded were no better. But…this is what should be happening, a conversation. I came at you with interest in your thoughts and we are talking. That’s important.

120

Emma Frost I think is gonna be great too. Everyone else I don’t know much about. But I remember when Evan’s was cast as Cap, people were so mad like oh Human Torch can’t be Cap and I’ll never not see Torch. But now, I can’t see him as anything but Cap. Sometimes you gotta wait and see.

I mean I think they nailed the whole goddess vibe with storm. If you put your thumb over professor x hair you can see it. The dudes got the right bone structure in his face for the kind of professor x I want. I think the cyclops actor looks more like a Bobby drake than a “slim”. So not bad imo.

330

I think he should appear in a solo Hulk movie. Then his own movie. Finally X-Men. That’s the order I would do it in. But also don’t rush it. He’s a major draw and you done want to overshadow the development of all the other characters that early on.

020

Just gotta ask, who dont you like and why?

I love all of it. But looking at the dude playing Cyclops I can’t help but thing he would have been better as Iceman.

First time as a closer in a standup show. 1 hour til showtime.

This was so dumb of Marvel/Disney. This show is amazing.

@marvelcomicshqs.bsky.social This my 20 bag display box. Doesn’t look super premium to me. The Nakayama cover and the Artgerm are amazing. But 4 of one cover twice is silly. Just seems like the box of 20 would have went further than just buying 20 blind bags. Just disappointed in all the doubles

@davidnakayama.bsky.social I can’t thank you enough for this. This made my year and I appreciate it. Keep rockin dude. You’re awesome!

Online Comic Book Store exclusive covers are a big reason ratio variants are dying. At our shop we used to be able to get a decent amount of money for 1:25, 1:50 and 1:100 variants. Now I’m typically pricing 1:25 covers at $7.99 which sucks because the standard price of most comics are near that.

I can tell you we don’t want him in the Burgh!

I don’t know how yinz make this better and better but somehow you do. This is a must have and I can’t wait to take mine home and reread everything again.

Is there anywhere in this country that is safe from Data Centers? And please don’t say my mother in laws cause I’d rather pay the high electric costs.

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Sounds great dude. In the meantime I’m gonna keep snagging all your recent Marvel covers.

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Where else can you get psycho religious babble, mixed with ice wall conspiracy and a dash of Disney magic at the end?

Friday night I performed my first standup set at a charity benefit by Slapstick Productions for the Special Olympics. I had an amazing time. I got to meet some wonderful comedians and some amazing people. Oh, I also signed a shoe. I can’t wait to keep seeing where this road takes me.

@davidnakayama.bsky.social I just met your brother today. Im one of the managers at New Dimension Comics in Pittsburgh PA. He’s an awesome guy and he agrees with me that we need to get you here for a signing. If you’re ever in the area visiting we would love to have you here.

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

My first standup gig Friday 4/17 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Uniontown at 7pm. I was told it helps to picture everyone in their underwear. But if everyone could just wear only that it would help me. I’m a visual guy. If I can see it I can visualize it. See what everyone has to look forward to 😂

I’m sorry but Absolute Batman is not a good book. It sells well so as a shop manager I’m happy about that but it’s not good. Absolute Wonder Woman is tops for me easily.

@awitter.bsky.social does it again. Another stellar cover for my wall.

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

That’s cause he’s bad ass.

@penguinsnhl.bsky.social If you’re playing the stars and doing a promotional night why isn’t the world would you do Cowboy Night with country music. Let’s just make them feel right at home. Free Dallas Jerseys for everyone too while we’re at it. Who is in charge of this & who gave it the final ok?

West Virginia is a beautiful state and I hope I never have to drive through it again.

My standup journey continues tomorrow. I’m very excited.

Lost my pup Link yesterday. My wife & I are completely heartbroken. He was loved by so any people whether it be family or strangers. He was known throughout our neighborhood. For 14 years I loved him, played with him, went on adventures & even lay next to him when he was sick. He will be missed 😭

Wooo, this arrived! It’s out by March, but I couldn’t be happier for this already exciting. Different editions for different readers in different formats it’s something I firmly believe in, so this is something I was looking for, and this looks really cute. @dc.com @tomtaylormade.bsky.social

Dude! I’ve got the issues, the hardcover graphic novels and you better believe I’ll be getting this. I love Nightwing and this is hands down the best run ever! Your art is gorgeous, colors are brilliant and the writing is outstanding. Amazing! Thank you so much!

As one of the managers of a comic shop I can tell you that the issues with the Ultimate Endgame #1 are upsetting but not shocking. Penguin Random House has struggled with damages since Marvel left Diamond and joined them. It blows my mind that it’s still an issue after all this time. FIX IT!

When I saw you were doing the art I screamed like a 6 year old with excitement. I can’t wait to read this!

They’re baaaaaack! Hell yah!

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

I am so excited to see the dream team return. I am doing a reread on Ultimate Spider-Man cause I’ve missed you guys. Just finished the Ultimate Knights Arc five minutes ago and then saw this. I can’t wait to read this and I’m sure we will sell a ton of these at the shop.

I’d love to see @awitter.bsky.social do a cover for a Minor Threats book. It would be killer!

Well shiiiit! Thats amazing!

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Just my take. McDavid, Draisaitl, Bouchard & Nurse account for just a tad over $46 Million. That’s almost half of the salary cap ceiling. Nurse average. Edmonton also has the 5th oldest team in the league & I don’t think they’ve gotten tough enough. I don’t think they even make it to the finals

Tim Cope @timcope.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

Laugh extremely loud? Lel 🤣
