The passkeys saved to their phone are automatically saved to their password manager, which makes their passkeys available on other devices as well (including if that device is lost or broken)!

Upgraded the firmware on my monitor (Dell U3225QE) recently, and now it wakes up my laptop randomly throughout the day/night, which in turn wakes up the monitor's display as well. Driving me crazy. Anyone know of a fix?

Not sure I understand your point. Just like your passwords in a password manager, your passkeys aren't lost when you lose or break your phone. You say you're sticking with your password manager. You absolutely should. You're just sticking your passkeys in there instead of passwords.

Trump’s new AI website is kinda fun, it turns out.
Can the president use taxpayer funds to air his old campaign ads on TV?

No. Federal appropriations law has long barred using taxpayer funds for political advertising.

This is HUGE. Microsoft 1P apps now use a system browser when authenticating against a 3P IdP (such as Okta or Auth0), allowing #passkeys to be used for sign in. This is a massive step towards finally eliminating phishable authentication for workforce.

generally speaking, security key users tend to be a bit more technical and will often be able to disambiguate. Best practices for passkeys also include having an optional nickname that the user can set that you display near the actual credential manager name.

That's not really how passkeys work. You can *optionally* decide to use the credential manager built-in to your device, but that's your choice. Many users use a different credential manager. whatarepasskeys.info
