I think we're finally making progress on consumer understanding of passkeys. Resources like whatarepasskeys.info are critical!

Upgraded the firmware on my monitor (Dell U3225QE) recently, and now it wakes up my laptop randomly throughout the day/night, which in turn wakes up the monitor's display as well. Driving me crazy. Anyone know of a fix?

Verizon's #passkey implementation is quite good. They're naming the Credential Manager correctly, and they're using RCS Business Messaging for proof up prior to enrollment. Well done.

EES at Schipol was pretty seamless. Took about 30 seconds for the kiosk and another 30 for ABC. Much faster than the old queues.

do iPhones not have theft protection built-in? (serious question, not trying to troll)

Tim Cappalli @timcappalli.me · 24/04/2026

Serious question (not trolling): Do iPhones not have theft protection that lock the device when sudden movements are detected? I was surprised to see posts about people creating automations to lock their phone when Bluetooth disconnects. Screenshots are the Pixel Theft Protection features.
