The pegmatites are about 1.4 billion years old, occurring as part of a larger scale magmatic event that occurred across the southwest continuing to the northeastern US. The pink comes from the mineral plagioclase. I love Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

I’m so sorry to hear that, but they are only trying to silence you. Many have come forward and elected officials have had to account for their actions. Unfortunately those who report are subjected to abuse by the accused or their party, but if brave women don’t make noise, nothing will change.

I’ve got a relatively simple. explanation. May be wrong, though I suspect they were young shoots, covered in snow and on a slope or just below one. A small slump in the snow or small avalanche that pushed them. as the show melted they started growing back vertically.

Aliens do exist, they come in the form of plants. Passionfruit flower. Rather than put up a trellis, I planted next to an acacia and let it climb the tree and use the dead lower branches as support. Had to take this photo from a ladder. #flowers #gardening #photography
