This is Milo. He is a late cat. He was properly scared of fireworks, but he could be comforted by a cuddle.

Is there some reason the article refers to the "largest unionist party", when everyone knows it's the DUP?

Makes a change - people objecting to immigrants from Hampshire, eh? Send them back where they came from. Or deport them to Docklands.

There are two words that the “sh…” at the end of this paragraph could be, and I’m not brave enough to find out which one it is.

A man builds an IED. He sets it off in a busy public street. Shrapnel flies about hitting cars, homes and a child's bedroom. It's a miracle nobody is injured. And Reform MP Sarah Pochin calls his imprisonment "disproportionate" and "two tier justice."
It does raise this point of two-tiered
justice..

Reform's Sarah Pochin believes the
sentence handed to the 64-year-old who
blew up a ULEZ camera was
disproportionate'.

Pensioner Hugh, living in RBKC's Holland Park*, has a free bus pass. (* Companies House is very helpful)
Geriatric Hugh writes to the Telegraph:

SIR– I have given up visiting several restaurants and shops in nearby Hammersmith and Fulham because I will not pay the exorbitant parking charges. The area has a very good choice of amenities, but sadly my neighbours and I are ill-served by the authorities.

Given that 48% voted remain, finding that 50% either strongly or slightly support rejoining is hardly a huge vote of confidence. 45% said to stay as we are!

I like the idea that she was so incompetent, that she went to court so that the entire country could then read about how incompetent she was. My old boss used to say “When you’re in a hole - stop digging!”

What I don't understand is, given that she clearly doesn't believe herself to be British and that she also wants to deport all immigrants, why she hasn't handed over her passport and gone to live in Rwanda?

CPS are judged on their success rate so they will automatically go forward with prosecutions when there's a good chance of success, even if no actual crime was committed. The main purpose of the law seems to be to enrich lawyers. Who'd have thought, eh?

Five to two for "back in by 2035" isn't a bet at all. Put your £100 with a bookie and he puts it on deposit at 4.5%. By 2035 he's got £142. If you win, he gives you £140 of it. If you lose, he keeps the lot. Either way, it's a sucker punch, not a "realistic likelihood".
