Idk if it's the drivers or the way games implement this, but once v-sync is off, everything suddenly runs just fine and games no longer crash.

The fact that my name is "Martijn" pretty much dates me. Before the 1960s almost nobody was called that, and after the 2010s it wasn't used much either. I was born right into the first dip 😅

Why would I spend money on a thing, knowing the money isn't going to end up with the people responsible for the thing? It just doesn't make sense for me, as a consumer. I want to support good work. I want to buy things I like, so the people who make them can make more things I like.

I never had a console growing up, until I got an Xbox 360 when I was already in my 20s. So I never really knew just how much cool & out-there stuff there is on platforms like the PS2. My impression was that it's dominated by boring mainstream AAA stuff, but there's actually a lot of creativity!

@mjdxp you could solve it by using only very basic properties of the card, like size, colour, does it have text, does it have a picture. By reducing it down to that, you end up with 2-4 toggles that you can design your game around.

We had way too many chili peppers from the garden this year, so I made sambal! It's an Indonesian hot sauce and it turned out plenty hot alright lol 🥵

Choppping up the chili peppers and putting them in a bowl, alongside some onions and garlic

Adding lots of different spices, including powdered ginger and laos, lemongrass, smoked paprika, caraway seeds, lemon juice, soy sauce and vinegar.

For days I've been getting Facebook password reset codes sent to my phone. I've not touched Facebook in many years and I was definitely not trying to log in, but someone was. First I wasn't sure what to do, but then it hit me: I logged into Facebook and deleted my account.

I'm usually a pretty lenient guy who doesn't get upset easily. But I can't get over these elevator controls in Tex Murphy: the Pandora Directive (our @dosgameclub game of the month). I mean... the button for 1st floor is at the top? And 2nd floor at the bottom?? Wtf??? #dosGaming
