Also, glad I'm in the hybrid now. The car spent most of the last 1:17 on the battery pack instead of running the engine

Random thought of the day: One of those moments where I realize that I'm sitting in a car, in a parking lot, having a video conference meeting with 50+ people from all over North America, on a device that's a quarter of an inch thick, with a screen almost bigger than my first personal television.

The process is designed to see how I do in the role before making it permanent while giving me time to ramp up, and giving me the option to return to being an IC at any time or at the end without penalty. My career has been kinda pushing this way for a while, let's see how this goes.

Started the process of potentially kicking off a new phase of my career. Told my director to go ahead with putting me into the manager training program to take over my team as interim manager. 6 months of being the engineering manager for my team with trainings, eventually becoming the perm manager

Before COVID caused our in-person wedding to be cancelled, I was going to have a similar picture with me holding a sign surrounded by all my friends and family named Dave/David and me holding a sign saying "These are the Daves of my lives..."

It’s very unfortunate that the digital release of Flamecraft, a very wholesome and beautiful board game about using dragons to support retail ventures, came out one day after one of the most high fidelity horny dragon games ever made “You seen the new dragon game?”could get very different answers

I'm looking forward to it, but had preordered the steelbook edition, so I have to wait until mid-October.

I can relate to this. It's definitely happened to me that the age window shifted up as I got older biologically.

Also, if it makes you feel better, I still feel super awkward talking about it, even though these days the biggest thing I need/want to work on is kink related.

I've come out as both to multiple therapists now. It's hard! But it's so worthwhile to be able to bring your full self to therapy. You never know how much is going to overlap. At least for me it's legitimately a lot!

That tracks. :D I actually have a lot of interest in foldables, but the tech hasn't _quite_ been there for me to make the jump yet. Plus I'm a Pixel guy, Google seems to be giving up again, and I really don't want Samsung. I dislike the OS changes they make. And Apple doesn't do work profiles.

Crinkle Tiggy @tiggy.houseofmow.com · 09/09/2026

One of the biggest things that I've come to learn through this year of self-reflection is that I don't really ever ask for what I want out of things, especially within the kink sphere. Much of that is not knowing WHAT I want, but a lot of it is many decades of putting everyone/thing else first.

Caretaker Tip: One of the most important questions you can ask before babysitting is "What are your limits?", even if sex isn't the goal. There are plenty of ABDL activities that some folks just aren't comfortable with, and that's fine! Strong communication helps everyone have a better experience.

Ok, but if you're doing homework, wouldn't the argument be made that you didn't know it to begin with? ;)

That should do that. It doesn't really hide it, but it keeps it from showing up on the main feed.

After MFM was cancelled a handful of us pivoted and kept all our travel plans and got an AirBNB for the weekend. It was a ton of fun - despite not really getting to go out much because of the 110 degree heat index - We played games, watched a ton of Game Changer, and had lots of diaper changes.

It's an interesting thing to realize that you've been away so long that you've moved from "Must see" to "Would be nice to see" when you go back to where you grew up. It's just life, and I fully realize we've - somehow - been on the other side of the country for 8 years. But also a little sad.

I'm watching Spider Man No Way Home - the multiverse one - and early in the movie there's a scene where MJ and Spiderman are discussing some of the crackpot theories, and she goes "Yes my spider-lord" And I have to wonder if Zendaya says that in the bedroom with Tom.

I definitely care. I'd buy more today if I could. They were my go-to for as long as I could get them. The X-com-ish print was very middle coded, and I really liked the cloth outer layer.

One of my lorcana team has been bringing a homemade pizza to league every week for the last couple of months. It's honestly been really impressive, and frankly, better than what most of us are getting at by the slice places. And I don't imagine its costing him much more.
