So ex-Army personnel can be called up now, right up to the age of 65? My service ended 35 years ago and I'm outside the age bracket now, thank heavens. Anyway Mrs T says I'd never survive the cold in Greenland. Or the heat in Iran. #coldwarwarrior

Even more praise for NHS Highland. Following on from Saturday's nebuliser experience I took a dip today. Phoned GP surgery 0930, got an appointment 12.25. Got prescription for oral steroids, will be high for the five days! Super service from Receptionist to Student Doctor to GP, thank you all 👍

On New Year's Day 1958 my dad passed away following a heart attack. No heart bypass surgery, no defribillators, no stents etc in those days - a heart attack was a death sentence. He was 38, I was 6. If you still have your parents, look after them.
