hi all, im really struggling right now both mentally and financially, there's a lot to go into so I've written it out on notes and screenshotted below ko-fi.com/bluecataclys...

This is gonna be a long one so, apologies in advance.

Over the past few months my mental health has declined rapidly, to the point where I am unable to handle working. I've been out of work more than I've been in and, consequently, ran out of company sick pay and now have to rely on SSP (statutory sick pay) which is around £1000 less than my regular pay check.

Because of all this my finances have taken a massive hit and I'm currently stuck in my arranged overdraft with massive concerns of going even further and landing myself with interest fees due to upcoming payments.

I have spoken with people about what financial aid I may be entitled to due to my situation but every one has a 4-5 week wait time minimum before the first payment would be sent to me. I don't like asking for money, especially with how fucked the cost of living is across the board, but if anyone is able to spare anything at all I would really appreciate it. I've set up a ko-fi goal to cover bills/food/help me out of the overdraft situation. I am more than happy to look at paying people back if they wish, once my situation improves.

I'm sorry if this was a bit rambley, I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to read through.

It was easier as a kid. You wanted Nintendo and then the next newer Nintendo or something like that. You got conditioned to want things. But when you are in the country it is hard to make friends and have them come visit. You start to realize isolation and games don't make you happy. Friends do.

I realize so late that I was raised and grew to focus upon the desires and needs of others instead of exploring my own. It is a way to ignore or forget your own desires. I have an underdeveloped sense of asking for what I want and instead ask what I can do. So when people ask me what I want I pause.
