So how would this fit into my D&D game? A Bard who uses a hand puppet as their spellcasting focus? Or a sentient hand puppet Wizard with a human familiar? Where is Jeremy Crawford when you need him? Fun bit of trivia: much like Handy, Crawford’s evil catchphrase was also “READ A BOOK!”

#D&D Tavern Game: Five Finger Fillet Mechanic: DC 17 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check once per round. Failed check results in a nick that draws blood, ends game. Failure by 5 or more results in 1d4 piercing damage Wagers: duration w/o blood, which digit gets cut, or whether first aid will be necessary

Whether it's monstrous denizens trying to break down the door to get at the party, or vice versa, it's about time I worked a good old-fashioned d20 Strength contest involving a massive slab of dark oak with black iron bands into my next #D&D game. Can the party bar the door in time? Roll initiative!
