31 Days of HELL (NOFS Podcast Challenge) Day 7: Bloody Bride - Ready or Not ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 left this one unfinished for quite a while but I loved it, there’s a sequel that JUST came out. And it’s knives out with guns, had a lot of blood and satire that was actually pulled off. About chosen families?

There’s NO WAY Threads is TV-14 like Tubi said, but it WAS shown at night on the regular BBC channel in 1984, children everywhere watched this, though it’s necessary I guess. (The prompt was originally “Not-so-imaginary friend” but since I had seen all the good ones I changed) Here’s the list :3

31 Days of Hell (NOFS Halloween challenge) Day 6 - WAR - Threads A semi-documentary on nuclear war that definitely counts as a horror movie, I’d recommend it but only because it’s more relevant than ever. It’s bleak as hell, and even the war that starts it in this is between the US and… Iran.

NooOoOooO Kash Patel’s FBI letting murderers, pedophiles, and spies get away?? He could neverrrrrr. Pulling all your resources to find dirt on Americans politicians and citizens you don’t like and hunting immigrant families is what the FBI is SUPPOSED to do! Fidelity? - Bravery? - Integrity? Ew.

31 Days of Horror Movies (following nightmare on film street’s prompt challenge below) Day 5 - FELINE FRIGHT - Two Evil Eyes - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a pretty undiscovered Poe themed anthology film featuring George A. Romero AND Argento! needed more segments but great practical effects and ofc cats :3

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

This movie is not only directed by George A Romero but ALSO Dario Argento ADAPTING EDGAR ALLAN POE Kinda insane I didn’t know about this (it’s called two evil eyes)

READ THIS YEAR Book 59: Cycle of The Werewolf This is a bite-sized Stephen King novella with Illustrator Bernie Wrightson doing images for each chapter (which is formatted for every month of the year through various holidays) even though it’s been marketed as a graphic novel, it’s perfect for fall

People are always surprised I haven’t seen Twilight before. I dunno what that says about me and if that’s a good thing or a bad thing XD Now I have become the stereotype.

31 Days of Horror Movies (following nightmare on film street’s list of prompts below) was gonna watch Cronenberg’s Scanners and HBO wouldn’t work right so instead I watched this which is a new indie film using audio clips, unique, not too scary :3 Day 3 - Tech Terror - Undertone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I know a lot of people are worried about Carrie coming out, but it’s Mike Flanagan, the same guy who made Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep, Gerald’s Game, Life of Chuck, and The Haunting of Hill House. I think I found further proof it’s gonna be pretty well done. (And Carrie is my favorite King book so)

READ THIS YEAR Book 58: INKed in Blood A comic book made by the horror movie-themed band Ice Nine Kills that delivers as a bloody slasher with meta references and campy dialogue, it’s short of course, but it’s fun, it has the band members in the story too with actual names lol :3

Here’s the list if you’d like to follow along, though I doubt there’s many on Bluesky I still like to go through it with stuff that’s already on my watchlist! (Originally was Rad Remake but I couldn’t find anything and a slasher seemed like a good start :3)

I was gonna say something about how almost every adult game is the same and it’s never even close to unique but then I saw this.

Oh so THAT’S where it came from… Sometimes it upsets me to know Elon is ACTUALLY a sci-fi nerd. But it’s deeply ironic for the billionaire tech mogul taking credit for world ending artificial intelligence and space weapons to read the books but completely misunderstand ‘em #booksky #getofftwitter

Things really are insane if there’s a very real possibility Trump was giving Xi & friends an open house walkthrough. I wonder who else is bidding?

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

READ THIS YEAR Book 57: Live and Let Die (007) 🔮🩱🐍 The second book in the original James Bond novels is certainly uh something. It’s well written, more developed, and lively with one of the better Bond villains. That said the original version was rough, I mean it was 1954, but man, lotta slurs…

210

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

READ THIS YEAR Book 56: Kent State 🏫✊🪦 written by a childhood friend of Jeffrey Dahmer who’s since become a cartoonist (and who also wrote about that) is a graphic novel about antiwar students and protestors were shot and killed by the national guard, and this was 50 years ago, history is fun.

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Such different vibes just from the cover, a movie can definitely make it even with a bad or cheesy sounding name, but I’m worried it has nothing to do with anything in the original book, but maybe that’s for the best. I’m just glad they didn’t change the book’s name for the movie permanently.. ugh

Unless Hunter and Isaiah post a new Halloween recommendation video, I shall be following these (with minor changes for more interesting stuff) currently trying to make my updated list! I fill these up with as many movies I haven’t seen as a priority with a few classics, one year I did two a day lol

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

READ THIS YEAR Book 55: James Bond Hammerhead 🦈⌚️🕴️ The third graphic novel in a series by various authors, definitely has the same vibe as the movies, more well choreographed action, and cool stuff like that. Short but entertaining especially when an aquarium blows up and a shark eats a guy :3

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

READ THIS YEAR Book 54: The Tales of Beedle The Bard This is a spin off “fairy tale collection” for Harry Potter, and the audio version (which I know isn’t technically reading) had Jude law as dumbledore in the notes, Luna Lovegood reading a story, and little quirks everywhere, it’s very cute.

READ THIS YEAR Book 53: James Bond VARGR + EIDOLON 🦾🕴🏻💣 This is a collection I found of two 007 Comic/Graphic Novels by DC and Marvel writers, it’s a lot like John Wick (which was inspired by spy movies) where the violence is upped, with the action, sex and sarcasm of a Bond movie :3

031

Catbro June 🐈‍⬛🧚🏻🏴👑 @throwingfits3.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

READ THIS YEAR Book 52: Casino Royale (James Bond #1) 🎰♠️🪑 More like a 31/2 but only because the standards for action and espionage are so high now, for the time it’s very good, I prefer the Craig movie, but this is the basis to so so much, so it deserves more credit. Short, classy, and deadly.

READ THIS YEAR Book 51: The Crow More brutal, visually interesting, and poetic than the already awesome movie, this is the source material and there’s even an album to accompany it led BY the author. This character was born in trauma, and this is especially eerie and yet an immediate favorite.
