The alien would follow along, the marketplace soon appearing upon their horizon until they were met with the new scene. It seemed lively— which is the type of environment Xel would normally try to avoid but… Circumstances were a bit different. It called for a slight compromise. +

Again, the alien’s cheeks would flare up along with slightly widened eyes. She would quickly try to hide it by looking the opposite direction. “That’s a first…” She would mutter, mostly out of being flustered of his sudden touch. “But I’m glad you accept either way. I can say the same of you.”

“Spices… I see. I think I’ve seen a few at some markets before.” She thought out loud. “Everything sounds lovely, I would love to learn and spend more time with you.” The last part wasn’t necessary, but she added it without a second thought. Her cheeks grew into a light green once again.
