From Retro Gamer - Dec. 2007: I finally found the source for this 😭 Iizuka mentioning how the inconsistency of NiGHTS’ sleeve cuff pattern led to the design we still see today (sorry for the super long image lol) #nightsintodreams

AS CLEAR AS NIGHT AND DAY?
When you're working on tight deadlines and have to achieve a million and one things at once it's perhaps inevitable that small discrepancies will slip into your final product.
Surely though, a development team would be savvy enough to know when something doesn't look quite right on their new hero? Nevertheless, this is exactly what happened when Sega finally released its exciting new game.
"I'm not really sure what you'll think of this," begins Takashi rather sheepishly, "but did you ever notice that NiGHTS has different coloured sleeves in the FMV and the actual game? The yellow and purple colours are actually opposite. We didn't find out about it until we released the game in Japan. Our original plan was for him to have the colour that's in the game (yellow triangle). However the image of NiGHTS in the FMV became far more popular than the actual in-game one, so we decided to stick with the purple triangle for the sequel Journey Of Dreams."

Below the text is an image of NiGHTS about to bow from the game’s intro FMV.

Or that they pull an Harvester (1996) with the ending. If this movie doesn't end with something completely deranged I'm gonna be really disappointed

Watching la la land, I'm expecting them to get by a car and die by the end according to the way people talk about this movie

The funniest joke of the movie is how they made Jean play basically the exactly same role he did in Amour, alongside also giving the family the same last name of the Amour characters. This is like Araki creating the Jojolion family and naming them "Higashikata" lmao
