Building a thriving fan culture takes so much effort from fans, & requires luck too (e.g. Do the teams involved care, etc). It's a tribute to a lot of work from a small handful of people that things in DC are as vibrant as they are. These spaces are also inherently easy to spoil or ruin.

Asked Hopkins how the club keeps the momentum of winning 4 of 6 going as the international break is upcoming. The forward points that this is a long season and it is a deserved break. They club will hold down the fort while supporting the players away on international duty but the rest is welcome
