Something I appreciate about Illumination is how despite New York being featured a couple times in their movies/franchises, it manages to look different and unique in each of them.

Minions: Captures the look of New York in the 60s

The Secret Life of Pets: Looks bright and colourful

The Super Mario Bros. and Galaxy Movies: Takes place in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan like the other films while fitting with the Mario art/visual style

Migration: Has more natural colour and lighting while looking a bit mysterious from the birds’ POV in some shots

So a few months back I rewatched Wonder Park and I wanna show you all a clip that perfectly showcases how disorienting and chaotic the cinematography and editing in this movie is.

So I was looking back at the Lilo and Stitch 2 footage from D23 yesterday and I’ve kinda noticed that Stitch’s model got a slight update.

Decided to revive my farm girl Sonic OC, Nova. Even drew her in the Sonic Riders art style. #sonic #sonicoc

The worst kind of shitpost movies are the ones that the internet trick you into thinking are shitposty with all the memes made of them, but in actuality are not and just straight up suck.

“Hm. Those are some angry birds.” With the first movie now being a decade old (jeez I’m old) and a lot of people uploading the entire thing on YouTube. I figured now would be the right time to draw the OG Squad. #theangrybirdsmovie #angrybirds
