Definitely not happy the merger got approved, but I’m not gonna bow my head in despair. I’m still fighting for a brighter future for filmmaking no matter what and I know this merger will only hurt Ellison in the long run. No matter what, I’m still holding strong for good movies.

As someone who genuinely wants to see Forgotten Island succeed, particularly because I feel its marketing has misrepresented what the film actually is, I don’t think encouraging people to watch it out of obligation simply because it’s an original is the right approach.

I REALLY hate to sound like of those people but with the type of designs Ray Gunn has, I believe it would’ve looked better if it were 2D animated like originally intended. And it’s really ironic since both Incredibles films have proven that Bird’s art style can work in CG.

I still think Kung Fu Panda 2 is the best entry in the franchise. The emotional highs of that film are so rich and the scene where Po remembers his past still is just as haunting as it was in 2011.
