yes. the Cornell case is ricocheting like a pinball and lighting up all of the related rage. the pattern is fast, bright and loud and getting harder to deny.

an actual fire (doesn't seem too serious) in my apartment building and a couple of for-hire movers are going up in the elevator as the firefighters arrive. because, in america, you are always on the clock.

also, Everett Blunck's unease was absolutely riveting. Kayo Martin's evil twinkle, too... The Plague makes a good (haunting) companion to Adolescence.

just a gentle reminder that if you never go to the websites and sources that provide the information for your AI-powered research, those websites and sources will die out.

I really liked Primetime. Performances were riveting and the story / tone was a tightrope walk, nailed. Totally see the buzz for Robert Pattinson. Merritt Weaver and Skylar Gisondo brought it, too. ✨

tried to capture some of that sky last night, real quick, from inside the car last night. like a honey ocean up there.

looking up between the square buildings of DTLA art district in los angeles, the sky is glowing at dusk, the clouds and light mingle like spokes on a bicycle. the beams of the bright sun intersect the spokes.

the stickiness of this iced coffee convo is starting to remind me of back when people started throwing around "karen" so much that even a woman's reasonable complaints in a store were up for mockery. this public square we've created sure can be punishing.

for real... if there's one big thing that otherwise smart people just can't seem to process, it's that what we choose to amplify really, really, really matters.
