Happy birthday to our perfect and beautiful Peach Bellini Bellissima, aka Peep!! 🎉🎂🥳

Photo of a medium-haired calico cat. She's looking up at the photographer with wide green eyes and reclining against a red plaid blanket.

The same cat again, looking away pensively.

ALERT ALERT ALERT NEW ION ART IN THE YEAR 2026????

An official art drawing of Ion for the Tales of the Abyss x Tokyo Tower collaboration event in November 2026. He's wearing a black, white, and green cyberpunk-type outfit with shorts, a cat-ear hat, and sneakers.

I posted on Tumblr about updating my OC fic and got a DM almost instantly (that just said “hi”) from a zero-post blog with this bio:

Bio text that says, “I read like your future reader. I notice what others miss. Your story, tested honestly.”

This excerpt has been my experience with things like VanCAF. For many people, the community aspect is going away and they see other tabling folks as competition rather than fellow artists. Another quote said, "It just feels more antisocial and transactional", and that's exactly it.

Signal boost for my Tumblr mutual! BC folks in particular, please share. Original post linked below. www.tumblr.com/squeakykins/...

Screenshot of an August 8, 2026 Tumblr post that reads:

"Urgent! 🚨

This is a long shot, but if anyone is in the South Okanagan:

The wildfire evacuee reception centre at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) is in urgent need of beds, cots, air/foam mattresses, and blankets. There are over 100 seniors currently sitting in chairs with nowhere to sleep but bare floor. TWO seniors' centres were evacuated here on top of the other residents due to the Bald Range fire.

If you're in the area please bring donations! Most of these folks haven't slept all night."

Bad photo because it’s night, but this is the Zestiria stuff. The pouch and the orange Edna are fan merch, but the rest is official.

Here's the other thing going on in Astra in case you were like "what's in it besides the clone angst bug yaoi". Well, it also has "people drag their friend for his bizarre life situation".

This is bonkers. I bought the Leveilleur twins as a pair, new in box, for $80CAD (including shipping) in 2022.

An eBay listing for the FF14 Alphinaud "minion" figure. The price is set at $177.91 CAD.

Hi all. Important post. www.tumblr.com/thisintermez...

Screenshot of a Tumblr post by @thisintermezzo that reads:

"I recently received a message from someone expressing that my SFF work Astra Inclinant is orientalist and a whitewash of the danmei novel The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System, written by Chinese author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, commonly known by the abbreviation MXTX, and I'd like to address this."

There is a "Keep Reading" link below the text, indicating there is a longer post under the cut.

Does anyone know where I can get one like this (or similar; long sleeved or different collar style ok) that's just solid black? I love this style, but it always has silly patterns and I just want a solid color!! :'''''/

Cheering myself up by reading applerankings.com. Whoever writes these things is incredibly evocative.

Screenshot of text that reads, "
This teeth-shattering oddity, boasting a deep red hue that’ll make a dark cherry look like a fluorescent glow stick, will destroy your helpless mouth with every unfortunate bite. A ten out of ten on the Mohs Hardness Scale, this apple would perform admirably as a drill tip in a diamond mine. While true the hardness marginally decreases if left in your refrigerator for a full year, those patient enough to plan lunch into the next decade will be sorely disappointed with a thick-skinned carbuncle that tastes and feels like an uncooked russet potato. Truly despicable."

1 of 2 poster variants I did for the local "Cringe Is Dead" art meetup I host sporadically. (Censored the dates/location.) Space at the bottom is where I put any other instance-specific deets, like a theme.

This is from 2021, but I still think it's good. I found out these dolls were twins and had some silly clothes, so I had to put them on the Leveilleur twins.

Flat colored drawing of Alphinaud and Alisaie Leveilleur from Final Fantasy XIV wearing McDonald's themed clothing borrowed from a 90s Barbie line.

A photo of Stacie and Todd dolls (twin siblings of Barbie, circa early 1990s) wearing McDonald's themed clothing.

A lot of the tabs have sections, too, so this is definitely more than 13 pieces of prose. I maybe. Have a Problem.
