Illustration of a monkey perched on and holding a bare tree trunk with one arm raised above its head and the other gripping the trunk at waist height. The monkey has long, flowing brown fur with lighter, golden-yellow fur on its face, chest, and limbs. Its face is greenish, framed by a white ring of fur with dark eyebrows creating a distinctive expression. The tail is long and curved, extending downward. The background is plain, focusing attention on the detailed, naturalistic depiction of the primate. The style is scientific and dated, reflecting 19th-century zoological art.

Historical botanical illustration titled "Sureau à Grappes" from "La flore et la pomone francaises," Paris, 1828-1833. It depicts a branch with compound green leaves and a cluster of small reddish-brown berries. Inset sketches show a detailed close-up of flower structure in black and white at top right, and three small seed and fruit diagrams at bottom left. The illustration focuses on accurate botanical features for identification, emphasizing the leaf shape, berry cluster, and reproductive parts. The aged, off-white paper and fine hand-drawn lines highlight the art and science of early 19th-century botanical studies related to fruit-bearing plants.

Historical illustration titled "Histoire naturelle des zoophytes" (1843) depicting six different jellyfish species labeled 1 to 6. Each jellyfish varies in shape and size, with delicate tentacles trailing below their bell-shaped bodies. The central jellyfish (number 2) is yellow with spotted patterns and numerous long, flowing tentacles. The others range from rounded to elongated bell shapes, mostly in muted gray tones. Fine anatomical details such as tentacle arrangement, bell texture, and oral structures are meticulously drawn. The page includes French species names underneath, emphasizing a scientific classification focus. The overall composition is precise, typical of 19th-century natural history illustrations.
