So Kindle is removing tech support from its device, pretty much requiring people to buy new ones, and introducing ads. This is why we sell our ReBound press books on Kobo. Also for ideological reasons: Amazon has been terribly destructive too booksellers and publishers, and I refuse to support it.

Thank you. There have been so many next level books since him, like disabled history of the US, queer history of the US, AA and Latinx, indigenous people, the whole revisioning series from Beacon. So for me he was kind of my gateway drug I think. Agree you can't stop with him, must go deeper.

Again, LLMs aren't designed to give you the *right* answer but *a* answer. Whether than answer is correct doesn't matter all that much, bc the LLM has no way of knowing what is accurate and what is made up. Getting the right answer is more a matter of luck than anything intellectual.

I am a fairly bilingual grammar nerd so I have a lot of thoughts here. Firstly, I know some white people have decided to be aggrieved by the capital letter, but it makes perfect sense. In the American context, Black is a fairly specific ethnic group. White is a trait, not a specific group.
