The grim irony is that if Trump hadn't started his damn fool war with Iran, we could have shifted much of those interceptor stocks over to Ukraine to protect Ukrainian civilians and then we would actually have the leverage to ask Zelensky and Ukraine not to kinetically sanction Russian oil.

“What if they get angry?” They can be angry and still respect your boundary. Threats or intimidation are different. If enforcing it could put you in danger, prioritize safety and seek support to plan your next steps. You don’t have to confront them or announce that you’re leaving. <3 <3

"If you talk to me like that again, I'm going to end this conversation and leave the room. I'll speak with you again when you can treat me with respect." <- that's a boundary. That's something you can do and enforce. It's hard, though, especially if you haven't enforced boundaries before.

I've been seeing a lot of "entering my villain era" & it's just women discovering boundaries. However, here's my PSA: a boundary is something you set for yourself. "You can't talk to me like that." <- That's a rule with no consequence. You can't actually force them to do anything they don't want to.
