iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

i’m heartbroken - they all deserve so much better than this

one of my best friends and the only reason i stayed sane through the pandemic was just laid off. one of the best QA i’ve ever seen, just an incredible human being and im so angry. so many people just. let go. without a thought or care. i’m so mad

and also, just very thankful for the efforts of my coworkers in unionizing and the work the union has done so far ugh, what a wednesday

Microsoft games division layoffs....🫠🫠🫠 i'm safe (currently), but gods...just genuinely distressing to watch slack accounts deactivate just...holding everyone in my thoughts and heart today

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

aside from like, the you know OVERALL of Sconce's character and person being sketch - i was curious why he sketched me out SO much. and it's because people like him and Tony are cut from the same cloth apparently

watching the third ep of 'the mortician' while i work and the guy writing '[blank] will die' and trying to turn it around to just be 'oh it was just a true statement, not a threat' is literally what my old roommate's stalker said about the death threat that HE made lmao

being kept from dating everything thanks to having to work a tale as old as time 😔🙏🏻

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

'i wanna be that comfortable place where you write and read...' (tumblr repost/crosspost continues with more #rookanis #dragonage) (hint: it's all rookanis all the way down i have a problem)

i just want all the devs who worked on dragon age veilguard to know that their creation single handedly inspired me to start drawing again not just start - but fall back in love with drawing, after a very long time. flawed and forged through strife, y’all still made something so very very special

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

'would you be so kind as to fall in love with me?' more #rookanis #dragonage, i lvoe my blorbos

and oooo i keep my art tumblr pretty tidy/art-focused so that means heeereeee....i can post sketches/line art of finished pieces. so here's the lines for this one, since i was happy with them as well lmao

091

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

lol decided to start off with the newest piece since i'm really really happy with how it came out and lmao also this is where everything was always leading this was inevitable for me

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

just a heads up, gonna be slowly posting the absurd amount of DAtV fanart i’ve done on here (maybe) (depends on if i immediately feel too embarrassed lmao) (originally posted on tumblr but figured ill have it here as well since tumblr can be finicky to non users lmao)

at a certain point in the meeting, i looked down at my phone to check a message and saw that instead and i just blacked out

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

james hurley twin peaks, i am constantly in awe of how you continue to reach ever increasing levels of dumb

000

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

i'm still keeping up with news/happenings, but doom scrolling until i am like "maybe i should see what people are saying on the dead bird site" and then lose an hour or two and also fall into mild dispair

000

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

i started being active on tumblr more - by which i mean just scrolling my "for you" feed on there rather than scrolling on twitter (and also posting art) it has been better for my mental health bc i've managed to curate an only art and only positive fandom posts which is WILD given fandom lmao

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

. @drawfeeshow.com there is legoshi truck, but there is also

i’m not sure the world exists outside of the seattle international airport i’ve been here so long the flight keeps changing

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

i'm realizing that i spent a lot of time in the spn/destiel fandom mines, so my enjoyment of a thing really can just come from "i like the bones of this, just let me play with it and imagine it to be what i want" they really gave a man black wings and trauma and my dumbass destiel brain went 👀👀👀👀👀

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

i HC the crows still being more or less as fucked up as they've always been, but maybe a bit less so thanks to Zev's retribution it's just like..normal to them and they're also still a goofy little killing family that loves each other but will still kill each other maybe ("but sadly, Rook. Sadly")

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

more #rookanis because i have a problem (posted on tumblr, posting here now) i love my Marisol de Riva, i'm going feral, i'm coming up with headcanons, i'm considering fanfiction, dragon age/bioware you've f'd me up again

ftr, it wasn't until i typed "themself" and it got redlined that i was like oh. wait. is that not a word. so lmao

000

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

i need "themself" to be a recognized/real word, because for some reason my brain is very bothered by the use of "themselves" when referring to they/them singular i understand it's grammatically correct and also FINE, but STILL.

ashley @thimbletron.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

i am, of course, predictable 🤧 (i'm not even in Act 2 i'm pretty sure, but lucanis..... ;-; ) #datv #dragonage #dragonagetheveilguard
