People were crying.😢 Memories of the Melted is a concert of the Rhône Glacier’s futures—where science and art meet the world-renowned SongHa Choi at the Villars Institute #ClimateArt #FeelTheFacts #yearoftheglacier #heidisevestere #thijsbiersteker #DataDrivenArt #SongHaChoi #WovenFoundation

Great plenary at World Biodiversity Forum #wbf2024 by Thijs Biersteker about facts, feelings & the role of art in communication about (global change) research. The statements are superb and chime so much with the art-science & communication work @hifmb.bsky.social www.hifmb.de/transfer/art-science/

have been working on a new work for years and want to launch it… Would @bsky.app already be enough? or do I still have to use the techbrotherhood’s apps? I have the idea that journalists still are stuck in twitter and arties cant drop insta ? Its a #science and #art work about #foodsecurity …

@bsky.app could we get a Trump posts MUTE 🔘 button? A insanity-summary impact update at the end of each week would be enough. 🤍 Right?

A quick reminder: For every $1 of research funding, NIH generated $2.46 in economic activity. This includes funding jobs in all 50 states. This isn't a red/blue thing: 8.9 jobs per $1M in CA & 12 jobs per $1M in GA. #AcademicSky #PhDSky #MedSky #HealthSky #healthequity #SciComm bit.ly/40NkIc0

This artwork in collab with @nhm-london.bsky.social can grow or declines on social economic pathway trajectories that impact the biodiversity locally. Like thermometer of scenarios. What country shall we feature next? #art #science
