Top tip: Wax your planes! My current workshop environment is less than ideal to say the least. Yet with a little candle wax, I can take shavings thick and fast without my "workbench" moving anywhere! #woodworking #handtools #diy

Broke out The Woodworking Shed sharpening system for the first time! A little nervous honing the edge on a brand new chisel, having never sharpened a tool before! But it turned out pretty well. I got a burr, a shiny finished, and it cuts effortlessly! #woodworking #handtools

I sussed this out in the most unlikely of places! An old woodworking machines book came up on vinted and check the front cover! This machine is the Major Coronet 12 Function Woodwork Lathe. Mystery solved! #woodworking #oldtools

❌ Fail Alert! ❌ I've been measuring and cutting the angled pieces for my workshop conversion. I was pleased with the fit until I saw the top! Whoopsie 😬 I cut it a bit short. Must have misread the tape measure... Measure twice, cut once!! 🪚 What's YOUR biggest measuring failure? #woodworking
