@joeyzeed.bsky.social Yo, Joey! Really enjoyed Pokémon: Ghost Grey from start to finish! I wish to ask something that needs confirming. When I visited Fuji Catacombs in Lavender Town, I noticed a grave belonging to Misty. Is this a tribute to her 4Kids voice actor, Rachael Lillis, who died in 2024?

Ugh... Capcom has bent the knee to the AI trend. I had plans to duke it out in Street Fighter 6, but not anymore. This is exactly why I am pinning my focus on drawing. That could've been me, but thankfully that wasn't the case.

Oh for Pete's sake! How much more can #PlayStation dig their own grave in addition to ending physical disc production for games? Now we're getting AI up-scaling for the PS5?! blog.playstation.com/2026/10/01/a... You know what? I'm glad I grew up with Nintendo. I'm also glad I'm emulating PSP games.

The Nintendo Switch 1 is the best there is to date. The worst... I'll be frank. It was the Wii U. But at least it had an internet browser.

Unlike Nintendo fanboys who thought there was a new 3D Mario or Smash as opposed to Kirby and the World Beyond in the recent #NintendoDirect, I don't mind playing other games that aren't Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, or Smash. As long as they're good games to play, be it official games or even ROM hacks.

In that case, I'm going to hold my fire until we get some powerful 3rd-party screw-in battery packs for Switch 2. Only then will the Switch 2 be worth it.

Patrick Adams / パトリック・アダムス @thewolfbunny64.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Patrick Adams / パトリック・アダムス @thewolfbunny64.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

The reason why I'm still not investing in a #NintendoSwitch2: the battery life. When playing the Switch 2 in handheld mode, you get 2 to 6 hours of battery life. The Nintendo Switch OLED in handheld mode has a whopping 4.5 to 9 hours of battery, making it a portable powerhouse for on-the-go gaming!

As of #PokemonChampions, I'm sad to say that after nine generations, the original turn-based battle system is going to be retired in the mainline games, starting with #Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the upcoming Pokémon Winds & Waves games. This video here is proof: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xqz...

As long as I have my ammo of erasable pens and pencils in my arsenal, I will keep on drawing and not bow down to the AI nation. I don't care about drawing for the sake of being popular or winning art contests. I don't even need corporations with their AI models to prove my worth. I only need myself.

I'm forever grateful to have grown with Pokémon over the years; whether I was watching the anime or playing the games. But now with the current state of Pokémon, especially with scalpers, and that Ash is no longer in the anime, there's no point to support the official games anymore. It's Kanto-ver.
