My grandmother passed away today. Before I had a family of my own, she was the only one in my life who was there for me unconditionally. It isn't an exaggeration to say I might not be here now if it wasn't for her. I already miss her tremendously.

I can't wait for this one. I am so excited! One of my favorite games of all time. I know some people don't like the visuals but I think they did a great job. Looks like they kept the game fairly faithful but added more modern controls and some QOL improvements.

If it works, this disc to digital feature is pretty interesting. Essentially gives physical games all the benefits of both physical and digital. On the negative side, it clearly paves the way for a disc-less future. In the end, it still seems better to have the feature than not.

There are No Ghosts at the Grand seems pretty interesting. Although I do feel the Lovecraftian musical renovator genre is a bit overdone at this point.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered | Official Announcement Trailer

CDPR is consumer friendly again, offering the remaster for free. This game has been heavily discounted for many years. I wonder if they will make enough to cover the cost of the remaster. I have never played this one so it will definitely move up to the top of the backlog!

We had a water leak that is causing me to redo my office. I have a wall that is 77in/195cm wide that will now be unused. I was thinking I could either put a bunch of shelving to display my collectibles/physical media or I could put a TV and have a retro setup for all my retro consoles. Thoughts?

What is a game you absolutely love to pieces, but everyone seems to have forgotten its existence, or it flew under the radar? The games I have loved over the last 15 years are popular AAA games. Going back a bit more, The Longest Journey is the best point and click adventure game I ever played.

I have recently had an opportunity to use my PS3 and Xbox 360 recently after a long time away and I was pretty surprised at how much better the UI/Dashboard held up on PS3 compared to X360. The latter is pretty awful in 2026. I don't remember it being bad at the time.
