Jonathan: We do not have a Slack. We normally don’t talk to each other at all. I actually had to break up a fight between the two of them at San Diego Comic-Con. Which was fine. I suppose a little healthy competition is a good thing.

My assistant usually talks to Jordan or any other editorial person at Marvel. I stopped taking their calls or responding to emails a while ago because, when my lawyer negotiated my most recent contract, we put language in there that limits electronic communication and in-person eye contact.

You have to be firm about these things.

Gotta X-Men post through it per my self-imposed rules. I think a lot of X-Men writers loose sight of how interesting it is to have non-passing mutants be a major part of stories. That is such an interesting part of the mutant expereince around discrimination that i feel is not used a lot currently

The best boss in control resoanant (slight spoilers) is far and away the dancer btw. At least from a design perspective. Also only boss to earn a multiphase fight because it’s the black and white swans. That’s really good visual storytelling that makes me so much more interested in this boss!

Control resonant thought (slight spoilers?): there is a weird conflict between the story constantly telling you Dylan is actually kind of a failure of a parautalitarian who is markedly weaker than Jesse in every way but the actually combat and movement of Dylan being crazy op compared to Jesse

Another stray control resonant thought: the resonant bosses have no unifying thread but there is an early implication they will be artists/creatives and that sort of links with Dylan’s drawing hobby and almost alludes to Alan wake style awe stuff but this is thrown out quick

Resonant brings this plot thread up in a big way and it does not necessarily instill confidence in me that Remedy knows how to conclude this story in a satisfying way. Also plays a lot into the game's ending (that is wildly dissatisfying imo) and reads as "we will answer this in paid DLC"
