A1. So Ionnarah as a world existed before The Luminhaven Chronicles. But it's such a big world that often I get a story idea and go "would that fit into Ionnarah?" and then I slot it in somewhere and start fleshing out the world right around it to fit the story. #WeeknightWriters

As a bonus, blinkwyrms: very long wyrms that can blink into different locations with ease, but can also "half-blink" making their skin permeable so that passengers can board them. (Gross but cool, I know.) They then blink over to different stations and stops along the transit route.

The current era, the Aeon of Light, has seen a big technological boom - including space travel! There's also mass transit (blinkwyrms!), charmcasts (allowing people to watch shows or sporting events over distances), and charmpaper (allowing for instant messages over long distances). #FirstDraftFall

I don't think either of them are happy at the beginning. Auri is excited at the beginning- she just ran away and she's doing the entrance trials! But she's frustrated that her family doesn't understand or support her dreams and her mom won't even tell her why, just shuts her down. #FirstDraftFall
