Thanks! I have a slightly different style/brand but love mine. Just doesn't look quite as sturdy as yours. Our garden is only 36 by 48 and fully engulfed in pumpkin so not much weeding needed.

My wife turns 50 today. In honor of Easter and her love of hedgehogs, we hid 50 of these in the house. She has 5 left to find. It's been an hour. Make that 4 left.

It's not a genre for everyone. But there are some quality pieces in there. Carl is at the top for me. He Who Fights With Monsters is probably 2nd and maybe Bobiverse or Scalzi in 3rd. The chicken one and the mom one didn't quite do it for me. But Carl, Carl is....well....Carl.

Life update if you care. I got gussied up for an interview (even trimmed my nose hair). Didn't get the job. 4 years of trying, and failing, to be a teacher has left me a bit empty inside. But also a bit happy. Because I got promoted to today. I'm now allowed to drive the tractor!

At the end of the day, it all sounds like a #humblebrag but I'm proud of being able to help where and when I could. And the hug from my 4th grade teacher made it all worth while. So get out there and check on your neighbors. Not everyone has the luxury of having kids that live nearby. 2/2
