another day, another story of a first time indie author lighting piles of money on fire because "the investment is worth it." this one dropped over $4k on their first ever book, and has plans to spend even more.

Rika pinned the goblin's head down to the dirt with one of her hobnailed boots. For a second it thrashed uselessly against the tough leather. Her sword pierced its throat. It died with a wet gurgle.

Wei Shi Lindon. Although, he'd probably just break it down to figure out how it worked, then create a new version for himself. Dross, on the other hand...

Playing this de-gatchafied gatcha game. All the dark patterns meant to keep my playing so I'm tempted to spend monay are still there. The predatory monetization, however, is not. Its a strange experience. (Game is okay at best)

LMAO. If ChatGPT, Claude, whatever disappeared tomorrow, it wouldn't hinder me in the slightest. In fact, it would help me because I wouldn't have to compete with the people flooding KU with AI slop anymore.

I think (for me) the issue here is that someone in a pantheistic society wouldn't really swear by ALL the gods. They would swear by one, picking the god that was most appropriate to the situation, or by whichever cult they most participated in.
