I want speaker Johnson to explain how if the economy is doing so great that squares woth a 0% raise for the federal workers - especially considering that means a net pay decrease after inflation and health care premium increases.

Someone needs to remind speaker Johnson that the first 2 rounds of COVID checks were passed with a divided congress and Trump in the White House. Also we don't have increasing take home pay and we have less money in our pockets today, not more due to the Republicans.

OK folks, it is reported that the mysterious US military aircraft that traveled to Moscow took the head of the CIA there for "talks." This shows how incompetent this administration is. You don't travel to "secret talks" on one of the largest planes directly from a US base to Moscow.

Well let's see what happens. Locally, 80/20 ground beef is at $7/lb today. That would make the 25% lower price about $5.25/lb. National ave today is $6.89/lb so 25% lower would be $5.17/lb and the ave on Jan 19,2025 was $6.22/lb. We all know that decrease to $5.17/lb is not going to happen.

To my knowledge, there's not a single example where cutting benefits, welfare, or healthcare directly led to a reduction of taxes for those say they don't want their taxes to pay for these services. They're all still paying the same amount. Only now someone goes hungry. #GoodMorning, everyone.

"Medicare for all" is not enough. It represents inside the box thinking. Also why do people on Medicare need "supplemental plans" for prescription coverage and other benefits? It would really just be a continuation of the "big insurance" control of healthcare.

Clearly some have forgotten 1 Corinthians 11:17-22. I'm not saying the laborer doesn't deserve wages, but clearly this excludes many of those the Church holds dear. The message is clear, for access to this "wisdom" you must pay, and pay a substantial amount. Do better Hallow & speakers.
