Well all I can say it congratulations for being a marvellous human-being. I'm sorry for you losses but you have proved what a wonderful person you are. To be honest, yes I enjoy it if someone likes my art, also my writing, I love writing. Money, fame? Not concerned, making people happy? Yes please.

Thank you like I said I did it for ten years - UK ice hockey, I used my sense of humour and love of entertainment, lots of folk maybe weren't on the same side of the fence as me but I lasted well over ten years, so it couldn't have been that bad...

Thank you my art hasn't really contributed anything. I care for her officially - I'm a bit younger - and gave up working when I was about 52 to care for my mum [dementia] then my dad [94] when they died Chris go ill and I had to look after her. Her pensions have helped us no end. She earned them.

Yup it is, she is a retired bio-medical scientist, 76 years old with secondary kidney cancer; has a few mental health problems due to SIADH happening after the original kidney removal. She's had that for 10 years and she is as tough as nails and 50 times better as a human being than me - at least!

I used to do stuff like that for ice hockey - honestly....

Ha I love the stuff Patton has been in!

2/2 I sold one of Lockerley Church - I used to live near it - I put it on FB and an old school friend's son had got married there the weekend before so he bought it for £65. I sold Squeak the Cat to my Hugo the dog friend for £60. I have given a few to people too. Painted them or dead relatives.

1/2 I've sold about 5 over the years, one commission a families ice hockey player son, the first I felt wasn't good enough so I painted another and gave them two for £60. I painted my friend's late Hugo the dog and he bought it for £195 but I paid for the frame and postage so £40 really.

Well I did link it to him on Instagram when I was on there - no interest. Until Muskler took over Twatter I used to be on there and chatted to him about the film for a little while. I was also proper message friends with Brett Goldstein too - we shared the same birthday and I loved his early films

Politics in the West can kiss my arse. Not one of the 'big', 'important' countries has ever had a socialist government. Look at the state of them 1000 years later - I'm not necesarily a socialist but they have not made our world/countries into the state they are in now - they've never been in charge

I think I might shut down this thread now; people must be geting fed up with me and if people are stealing my images to use for themselves, well fair enough, nearly all of the paintings I have shown you are sat in artist cases in my bedroom, I can't give them away. So if anyone makes illegal money 🤷‍♂️

Did you like 'Shaun of the Dead'? I couldn't believe how good it was when I saw it in the cinema, mind you I am a bit biased because I loved the TV show 'Spaced' that most of the people involved in the film were in and helped created - so I am not giving a level view/opinion 😂

I think the style of the films, the costumes, he copied them the best he could, but then put in his daft humour that is purely him and few friends, and as we can see it fits any style of film if you get it right. I do think it does look like a 1940s film.

She is in the Enola Holmes films if you've seen them but a lot of her other stuff is mainly UK based and a fair bit of TV.

That's the problem with the world - and don't worry we in the UK aren't very far behind you. The first trip we had was her reward due to her performance, it wasn't a US company either, but the second time we went it was off our own backs, so we definitely liked it.

Yup we really liked Boston, my wife's company that she worked for had a managment office there so we got a nice hotel and tickets for the game for free! I couldn't go now my messages and SM would ban me from entry 😂

It is okay to keep posting them and copying you in? I mean I have a lot and they are not all portraits of actors and so forth. I can give you link to my site if you like - it is every painting I have ever done - including some proper crap ones I don't like - that I have a photo of.

One neighbour, who I painted & painted his lovely dog, & bought him a copy of my novella, cannot believe I'm not well-known - but they are rare to be honest. To be fair my wife has cancer and few other things but you wouldn't know so we do have a fairly good life. It is a weird thing in my life.

I have, funnily enough I did graphic design for well over a decade for UK ice hockey - I did logo designs, game promotionals and shirt designs that were used for Swindon Wildcats but also the actual organisation the EIHA, NIHL and the Scottish lot, the SNL and several of their clubs.
