The CSSL carries out forensic analysis and research in the wake of Canada’s worst storms. Its paid 17-week internship program, launched in 2022, places teams in London, Ont., Winnipeg and Olds, Alta., known as “hailstorm alley.” This year, there were 270 applicants for 28 spots.
