Even after hitting credits for Dressmaker several weeks ago, I still have brainworms, and it’s dragging me back to my EGL days. Hell, I bought a Lolita dress for the first time in ages. (I think the last time I bought a Lolita dress was 5+ years ago and even then, I was burnt out on the fashion.)

prepare to boo me, but if you’re sick and not testing for COVID you can’t say it’s not COVID. also, you need to know because if you’re at risk for or happen to develop post COVID conditions you AND your doctor will need that documented.

Everyone should be fighting for Universal Healthcare and disability rights. Health is fragile. You can become disabled or chronically ill in an instant. It’s not a moral failing. It can wipe out your savings and leave you destitute. Healthcare is a basic human right.

people don't want to process it because then they'd have to face the fact that they're directly responsible for causing other people to become disabled or die as a direct result of the disease they're spreading around they're the reason many of my disabled friends can't go out and do anything.

I just said aloud “can the person who’s coughing please put on a mask?” And while the person claimed “it’s just allergies” she did indeed do as I asked & went up to put on a mask.
