Serenity was released 21 years ago today. When a canceled series got the chance to have not only an epilogue, but one on the big screen... 🤯 Cool space chase. That was four months after the release of Revenge of the Sith and the Battle of Coruscant. We were really spoiled.

Creative lead Sandy Lockie: "We worked with Andy [Weir] a lot in the early stages to set the direction, the time, and the framing of our narrative. We've seen how people respond to the film and the book... Our goal was to remain authentic to that, so working with Andy was super important to us."

Of all the steps in the writing process that AI allows you to skip, research is the one I would miss the most. Unexpected things often happen; for instance, I stumbled upon the creator of the Zephyr from BSG—even though that information isn't listed anywhere—while I was researching The Clone Wars.🤷

(This is turning into a thread about my work process 🤭) As expected, the book on Prometheus is full of spaceships stuff. Even though I’ve already narrowed it down by cutting out 90%, I’m going to have to sort through them (because the idea isn’t to plunder the books 🙃) Some are better than others.
