Yeah the Maniac score works as a standalone synth album.. definitely worth tracking-down a copy. Genuinely can’t recall my thoughts on the remake though🤔.. I’ll re-add it to THE LIST for the next time it’s on tv. Best wishes to ya buddy!🫡

The Slow Engineer @theslowengineer.bsky.social · 13/08/2025

It’s a great album.. and with the aid of an auto-reverse tapedeck my reading was pretty much uninterrupted🤓 Really like track 4 (Nothing Can Erase)..it brought-to-mind ROB’s 2012 Maniac score (although it’s possible I’m misremembering that entirely 😁) Feel free to kick the complements up-the-chain🫡

light afternoon reading with an apposite soundtrack to boot.. #HPLovecraft ‘s AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS Graphic novelisation by I.N.J. Culbard , Sonic interpretation by FINGERWOLF fingerwolf.com/album/at-the... @dustopianfreqs.bsky.social #Synth #Cassette #Electronica

Statue of Cthulhu sat alongside graphic novel and imagined soundtrack cassette of H. P. Lovecraft’s At The Mountains Of Madness. (Both covers depict gelid blue barren wastes with backgrounds of vertiginous peaks replete with cyclopean architecture).

As I'm sure you know, today is Bandcamp Friday. I was lucky this year to go on tour with both Xeno & Oaklander and @mogwai.scot and if you didn't know Ye Gods is 100% independent (no label, no management, no agent) so if you want to help me offset costs feel free to go here: yegods.bandcamp.com

photo by @nalineedphoto at the 930 club washington DC of a Ye Gods live performance. Antoni is singing into a microphone. He does that sometimes. It is unlikely he will ever stop doing it.

Hi everyone, as I'm sure you are aware by the overwhelming amount of emails in your inbox today is Bandcamp Friday. As some of you know I recently ot the chance to go on a tour and if you got to catch my set or if you didn't but "heard it was pretty good actually" from a friend or whatever, and would like to help me offset the cost of being independent (Ye Gods currently has no label, management or booking agent) it would be "radical" if you bought something off Bandcamp. I know things are insane and no one has any cash, I've sunk everything into manufacturing and these last two tours (not to mention the third part of the trilogy of albums) But there are other ways to help. You can share the bandcamp link, yu can add my songs to Sptify (a service I don't personally use but those metrics mean something to someone!) you can review it for your medium/substack account, like or leave a comment on one of the YouTube videos. It really helps a lot.

Thanks for reading! Tapes, CDs T-shirts all up in the zone.
The zone is what I'm calling Bandcamp today
PS. I'm offering discounted shipping on CDs and Cassettes to UK/EU
