The most fun I've ever had in the PM world is working as the NCOIC of a technical office, meeting with a PM and letting them try to tell me how it works, then spitting right back at them with their own lingo before they eventually ask if I'm certified as a PM. Sure am. Wanna try to BS me more?

Oh, my parents (specifically my father) had NO ISSUE telling me what a little weirdo I was growing up. And not in a nice, sarcastic, dad way. Like in the "why has God punished me with this child, he is such a disappointment" kind of way. Was good times.

Watching clowns...? I didn't know you were visiting D.C. ... :)

Good lord, I have always been so awkward and people coming up to me at events. Like, I LOVE someone saying "Hey, I've seen your videos/streams/whatever" but I get super nervous and never know if people will remember or recognize me. I've also massively fallen off the "meta" of creators.

What kind of monster made this world.

I still maintain that my personal favorite Vampire commander... Isn't a Vampire at all! Marchesa, the Black Rose (which I renamed Blood Rose for this deck) was an original idea a friend and I co-brewed and it was SUCH a fun deck to pilot! Highly recommend!

I wouldn't be much of a Commander content creator if I didn't mention, there's 86 legal Legendary Creatures that are Vampires! Of course, Grandaddy Vamp, Edgar Markov is still the top of the pecking order, but I'm surprised to see Clavileno and Stefan as 2nd and 3rd place (according to EDHREC)!

And, believe it or not, Witherbloom isn't even the main support set of cards for Golgari Vampire Lifelink! After all, the infinite combo, using Vampires specifically, uses cards from Foundations and Ixalan! I think these were even somehow legal in Standard together? Or something?

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

If I had to pick the "top" Vampire with green, I actually do think Valentin/Lisette is your best bet if you don't want to just have Rayami run the Command Zone for colors. It would be a very "Witherbloom" deck, focusing on lifegain over just Vampire Synergies.

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Apparently, there's 425 legal creatures in Commander that are Vampires. The bulk of them are Black and White, with obviously the highest third color being Red, followed by a smattering of a few Blue and then even a couple with Green! If you want Ramp with your Fangs, you'd need one of these!

110

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

This is kinda unrelated except for being about the cards depicted, but man, I LOVE what Lorehold has done for Dwarves in Magic. After so many years of them not really being A THING, they very much are now and have a deep well of synergies and that's just amazing.

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Don't worry, y'all, this is obviously a prop. Wanda got rid of these in every universe, remember?

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

One of the first... Four? times I've played Thranduil, Sindarin Liege and I almost just resolved a Through the Forest Gate to get 9 lands with my Commander, Marwyn, the Nurturer AND Scute Swarm on the battlefield. Someone got rid of the Swarm, as they should, but DAMN, that was cool!

Midnight Suns is going to be my entire identity for this set, isn't it. God dammit.

Anyone wanna play a game or two of Commander Friday night? Start time is usually 8:30 pm est. I’m down one player!

#Top4RandomCommander Day 17! Ignis Scientia is one of the Final Fantasy commanders I really want to eventually make and play! It’s becoming more and more apparent that I really like food tokens. I really like Campsite Cuisine! That’s a really cool card for foods!

Goood Mooorning, Friends! I am out of work today due to Dani’s car having a flat tire and her needing to be at a training at her company’s HQ, so she’s using my car. How we doing this Monday? Who’s got plans this week or upcoming weekend?

I feel personally attacked right now.

Oh absolutely. I always even check behind me to see if someone is maybe a few paces back and if so, I wait with the door. There is literally nothing so important that we can’t spare a few seconds or minutes for one another.

This and “kingdom” (I think it’s called? King, Guard, Traitor and two Assassins, each with a goal compared to the other roles) are some of my favorite ways to play 4+ player Magic. If you want 6-person games, Emperor is good.

#Top4RandomCommander Day 16! Atla Palani, Nest Tender is pretty much exactly what you’d expect: extra eggs so you can crack ‘em open! What are your favorite Yolks for Atla? Are you a Spaghetti Monster Connoisseur? Or are you hatching big Dragons or Dinosaurs?

CANT choose your seat? That smells of an overbooked flight that may result in some people not being able to get on. Last time we flew, both flights were forced to offer thousands of dollars to NOT board. Wild.

This has been a rough pill to swallow as I’ve gotten older and, hopefully, a little wiser. There is no automatic trust, even if **I** know I mean no harm. That knowledge to others has to be earned.

Main games I’ve been playing: TFT, Minecraft Create, Civ6 and Two Point Campus because I just got a bunch of dlc for it the other day. I’ve actually stopped playing Timberborn and ONI for a bit.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. This is peak “sticking to the bit” comedy.

Oh my God, just seeing the news that Pac has passed away. Only 40 years old, this is so damn sad. I hope his friends and family are taking time and processing this. What a loss for the entire world. nypost.com/2026/09/28/s...

#Top4RandomCommander Day ... 14? 15? I forget! The Master, Gallifrey's End is my favorite kind of Rakdos deck: one that plays with sacrifice and politics! I'm not super smart on Dr. Who stuff, did The Master make Daleks or was that someone else?

130

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

#Top4RandomCommander Day 14! Inga Rune-Eyes is interesting because it's a sacrifice-style deck in mono-blue. You don't have aristocrat pay-offs, so you're more of a value engine. You also don't have access to black's reanimation, but maybe there's artifact stuff? I LOVE a good Reef Worm deck!

#Top4RandomCommander Day 13! Polukranos, Unchained is one of those Golgari commanders I’ve seen but never had the time and energy to build. This top 4 DID make me realize just how many cards say “double the counters” or “twice that many counters” and holy smokes it’s a lot!

000

The Seth Cross @thesethcross.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

#Top4RandomCommander Day 12! Magus Lucea Kane is “Temur X Stuff” that basically has the dreaded “when something happens, double it” but in a more interesting way! I’ll say, these are the 4 highest synergy cards and the top cards weren’t that bad! I love so many of the UB designs!
