A draw based on the '93 Mario movie scene where the Bros. are asked for their names (And get jailed too).

It's amazing how BADLY Disney messed up on the family relationship between Chicken and Buck, after succeeding so well with Lilo and Nani. Nani never shuts down Lilo's imaginative spirit, but Buck never misses an opportunity to do that to CL.

I'm guessing either Leo (obvs best boi), Ruby or Emerald. The dragon siblings because it seems a lot of the developing story involves or focuses on them.

Same.. It kinda sorta would feel like I'm pestering or annoying my friends by pinging them. It's usually why I put \@silent in front of my DMs, so it doesn't bother folks ._.

Dear artists, When you post your art, please oh please, TAG YOUR THEMES! Some of us don't want to see certain themes, but they'll still show up on our feeds if our mutuals reskeet them. I'd rather block a tag than mute/block an account, especially if you draw other stuff outside of that one theme!

From www.tumblr.com/presentlydea... - I miss you, lost friends. I hope the sun is shining on your face, wherever you are.

Presentlydean on April 3rd, 2024

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted as sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't think anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

That one's one of the easy black-and-white cases, she's a piece of garbage in human form.

TheRevenge @therevenge.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

And if they were the only ones left... what money had they been coasting on this entire time, to pay for the property? Were the parents somehow THAT rich, before they passed?

000

TheRevenge @therevenge.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

So that house SHOULD've housed more people than the four (Lilo, Nani, their parents). But Nani asserts to Cobra that she's the only ohana Lilo has, so... all those other generations, aunts, uncles, cousins... The sisters are THAT unlucky to be the LAST TWO left of their entire family?

TheRevenge @therevenge.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

<- due to Hawaiian property prices. And then someone pointed out, the house would've likely been home to MULTIPLE generations of family (ohana) to save on housing (mortgages, for example). Hawaii ranks #1 for multi-generational household count in the USA, over all the other federal states.

There WAS one thing that bothers me about the movie, but it MIGHT be really small in comparison to all the great things going on in there: I recently rewatched the movie with family, and pointed out the damage of the house during the scene, how expensive it would be to repair it ->

A lot of times I see people say "separate the art from the artist" to justify still liking, for example, a character or their design or an interaction, but not the creator of the work, or the world it takes place in, or major events within it. I wouldn't call that "hypocritical", though?

I forget how long ago I drew this, but... whenever I get outright furious, this is how I feel inside. FURY VENGE!

Venge, a normally-chill armadillo girdled lizard, but angry and furious. Enshrouded in shadows and glowing orange inside from burning rage. Flames are erupting from his mouth and the top of his head. His eyes are glowing yellow. Design is influenced by Fury Bowser from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Nintendo Switch.

TheRevenge @therevenge.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Ripping Switch ISOs for the sake of "game preservation" when the games are still available for purchase, physically or digitally, is one thing. (If you want to mod your own copy of the game, go ahead.) But if you redistribute it, you're pirating it, simple as.

120

TheRevenge @therevenge.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It's why I roll my eyes whenever anyone argues about "game preservation".. Either you preserve games by archiving them, or you spread them out by pirating them (getting the experience without paying for it), especially for the games released this year.
