5 years since my doctor called to tell me that my biopsy was positive for breast cancer. Sometimes it feels like it was yesterday, sometimes like forever. Spending time tonight with some of my family reminded me of just how lucky I am. Key lime cheesecake was also helpful. #CanSky #Cancer

Went last night to see Hellraiser ('87) on the big screen. It was a blast. One of my companions for the movie doesn't really care for horror but was willing to try. Later on we were talking about it, he called the cenobites "Cinnobuns". That is going to be how I think of them forever. #HorrorSky

I suspect many cis people will read Alyssa's post and think she's exaggerating. She is not. Please, American cis allies, contact your representative and make clear that trans rights are human rights and that they're not negotiable. Trans people need vocal cis support, and they need it NOW.
