Yes, yes they are. That's going to be it for today, sorry, but glad to be back! ...anyways, my vacation starts tonight so be back November 4th.

They translated Usopp's line oddly, but basically what he's supposed to be saying is that he's going to make sure that him warning of the pirate attack will be just another lie for the villagers.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 12h

...man, when does Viz stop the stupid pirateisms again?!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 12h

...our heroes are morons...

110

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 12h

...we really need Luffy and Zoro to find them...

110

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 12h

Nami has her priorities. Money first, then Usopp.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 12h

Ok, back. Ok, let's see... Ah yes, Usopp's ten million men. Well, he's got me, so he just needs 9 million more! <Tyler doesn't understand numbers he can't count on his fingers>

The difference is the DQ ports play exclusively in portrait mode...

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Yamcha was unable to beat God. This tournament might not be fair.

140

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Finally playing Kakarot now. ...I may have made a terrible mistake...

342

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

When are these fighters getting added to Sparking Zero?

242

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Goku once again cross dressing. It's a proud tradition at this point. I am aware I basically disappeared all summer then just randomly posted this. No regrets. Also, yeah just bought the Daima Blu-ray release amd actually watching the full English dub for the first time.

And that's the end of Star Fox 1. Not the actual end of the comic, though. In fact, this is only about halfway through the comic... but we're gonna stop here. The rest of the comic IS properly bonkers, though. There's twin clones of Andross in them, it's wild. Anyways, enjoy the new game!

110

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I love how the other Star Fox members finally arrive just to immediately be left out again.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

...is James McCloud pulling a Mufasa?

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I hope they end up in Out of this Dimension. Gotta get back to work, more later.

010

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

...wasn't expecting the Beatles reference...

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I think Fox has daddy issues.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Oh yeah, in this James is called Fox Sr. So odd.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

D-did we just skip almost the entire original game in a one page montage?!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

The Arwing can do that? ...so THAT'S how Star Wolf keeps coming back!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Fara is an odd inclusion, right? That's not just me? Like... this is to tie in to the ORIGINAL Star Fox game before they created the concept of women. Anyways, all I got for now. More next break.

120

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

And finally, Star Fox is IN their Arwings!

120

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Finally, everyone's FAVORITE Star Fox character... Fara!

110

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Fox McCloud: Animals in Tights

120

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

...I promise, I'll return to One Piece soon. I feel bad, but I just have been having a lot of motivation issues. However... today we're taking a detour. Tomorrow the new Star Fox 64 Remake is coming out, and I'm excited. So... we're gonna read some Star Fox comic today.

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

In the first ever Doctor Who comic the Doctor is referred to as "Dr. Who" and he has two other grandchildren named John and Gillian. So he is LITERALLY John Who.

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

And we end tonight with more SBS! Next chapter tomorrow.

101

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Zoro's stick in the trap, Luffy's a dumbass that doesn't know what North is, and Nami only cares about the treasure. Guess you're fighting this one on your own, Usopp.

201

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

...damn it, Usopp! You had ONE job!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

...Kuro, you dumbass, you're HOURS away from victory and you chance being found out NOW?!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

All four members bring equally important things.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Mr. T is constantly risking his life while pitying the fool.

200

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Ah, the start of the infamous SBS section! These are only going to get weirder. And dirtier. ESPECIALLY dirtier. Anyways, next chapter next break.

111

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

I hate this early Viz translation... What Usopp is ACTUALLY declaring in the second page is that since he's a liar and everyone believes he's a liar, he'll fight as hard as he can to ensure that his warning REMAINS a lie. It's just such a more powerful line than "This time my tale will come true."

200

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

All in all today's been a bit of a bummer, hasn't it sir?

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Damn, not even Kaya will believe him. I got some mixed feelings about this arc which I'll get into, but this part is very effective.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Ok, NOW the steaks are razed! ...I'll see myself out.

210

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Apparently lying every day isn't a good thing. Insert timely political commentary here.

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Ah. Well. ...this is awkward.

110

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Kept you waiting, huh? One Piece Volume 4, let's go!

100

The R2 Dude @ther2view.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

I totally forgot to share this! At the beginning of this month I went to my local Comic Con where Ryan Drummond was a guest and got him to sign my Japanese Birthday Pack copy of Sonic Adventure 2!
