thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 15/10/2026Finally made the documentation for the BAT framework, it's really a lot of work and I hope some people will appreciate it, basically it allows you to make cross platform bots (for example Discord and Fluxer) easily and with a single codebase.github.comGitHub - s2004Dev/BAT: Framework for making a cross platform bot in Java.Framework for making a cross platform bot in Java. - s2004Dev/BAT 020 0

thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I don't really know if Telegram is open source but it's an app that fucking suck and I don't want to use it. 020 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Alright, today I'm gonna stop using some proprietary app like the Google Play Store and WhatsApp/Telegram, I can use F-Droid and Signal right? *Installs F-Droid* *searches Signal* Ah ok, Signal is not on F-Droid... *Goes back to the Google Play Store* sad_sbonchpob.png 130 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Ok but, if everything is personalized to me shouldn't I have a personality to begin with? How are these people gonna get anything 020 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I really need to document all of this stuff but I'm so lazy 😭 020 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I'm sorry but I think I cooked, I added a logging system to BAT that logs stuff inside a server channel of your choice and all it needs is a server id, a channel id and calling a function at the bot startup. Everything else is already handled for you and I think it's really cool. 130 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 09/10/2026You know my code is not AI generated when you read something as moronic as this. 151 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I'm working on the BAT framework again to add the missing features and to make it work on Fluxer as well, I'll make another update once I polished the last few things. 010 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I've seen it myself on my profile. When I post about Buizel I get way more interaction than with other posts. 020 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I think it's because most of your followers here follows you for Avali stuff, so if you post something unrelated people are gonna interact with it less because they are uninterested, not necessarily because the art isn't good or anything. 120 0

thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 29/09/2026If we consider that this app is free and open source, not backed by a big company that only cares about money, it allows you to change whatever you want on the backend and it's way faster/snappier on mobile than Discord + a lot of other QoL stuff, I'm all for it to win over Discord. 110 0
thePirateWeasel @thepirateweasel.bsky.social · 29/09/2026At the moment it doesn't have cross-federation compatibility, so if some of you uses normal Fluxer you won't be able to speak with people from FluxFur, but they're working on making this possible in future updates; they're also working on the desktop client and other features. 110 0
